Millions of people every single day log onto the internet in search of a home based business or a way of succeeding in their current network marketing company.

All too often people in network marketing are jumping from one deal to the next hottest deal in the hopes of making big bucks and that this new deal is “the one.”

Unfortunately what these people don’t realize is that jumping from one company to the next with the change of the wind isn’t going to bring them any success, let alone the big bonus checks. Choosing the right network marketing company is just as important as choosing the right system, team, and leader to join.

Evaluating a MLM Company should be a logical business decision, not one that is based on all the “hype” that may be clouding the underlying meat and potatoes. There are two questions you should ask yourself when trying to select the best MLM Company for you.

Question 1: If you were not taking part in the business opportunity, would you buy this product or service anyway?

Think about this for a second….and if your answer is “No” you better start looking for another company. If the opportunity that you are involved in isn’t promoting a product or service that you believe in or would use for yourself, you’re just setting yourself up for failure.

In Network Marketing, the driving force behind moving any product or service are the stories people share of their own personal experience with their company’s product/service. Think about it, when someone asks you “Are you using these products/services?” or “Are these products/services any good?” You better answer with a firm “Yes”, if you can’t, they’re probably not going to get involved. Now if you can look that person in the eye and give them a truthful yes, you can move onto Question 2.

Question 2: Would you buy that product/service at that price? If you wouldn’t purchase that product/service on the open market for the price your company is selling it for, chances are no one else will either. If you think people will pay more for a product because there is a possible bonus check that might come along with it, think again.

People that get into a MLM Company with an overpriced product just because they get all caught up in the “hype” tend to be the same people who are out of business a few months later with nothing more than a garage full of products.

Now don’t miss understand me here, this doesn’t mean that your MLM Company has to sell the products cheaper than other places where people can purchase it. You and other people must be willing to pay that price because the value is there.

Remember, ask yourself “Would I buy this product if I wasn’t going to get paid for it?” and “Does the product/service have fair value.
Now if you can answer yes to both of those questions, here are a few other things to keep in mind when it comes to a MLM Company’s products or services:

Are they unique and exclusive? It’s definitely a plus if the only place someone can purchase the product is if it’s through your company. If someone can walk into a retail store or find it online, your company better be offering it at a substantially lower price.

Are the products consumable? You basically want something that people are going to order over and over again, typically on a monthly basis. If your company’s product is water filters or jewelry, chances are people aren’t going to be replenishing their supply as often as you’d like, and the repeat volume will be tough to maintain. This is why there are a ton of companies who sell juice, vitamins, shampoo, skin care lotions, etc. These are products that people will consume on a regular basis and have the likelihood of being purchased over and over again. Another type of consumable product may be a service that people use on a monthly basis. If it’s a service that people are already using, but can get from your company for the same or better value, this is something to consider.

What are the typical monthly volumes for the products your company markets? This is an important question as your bonus checks will be in direct proportion to the monthly product volume from the people in your network as well as from their customers.

These are all very important points to consider when looking at the products during your evaluation of a MLM Company. Many people will tell you that the product doesn’t matter; it’s the compensation plan that drives growth. This may be true during the hype stage, but when the smoke and mirrors clear, it’s the people’s emotional connection with the product that will drive long term growth.

Multi Level Marketing Is Legit, Here’s Why

How many times have you done a “Google” search on an MLM Company just to find multiple posts on forums from people who just don’t have a clue about Network Marketing to say that it’s just another “scam”.

Well, if you were to have asked me that question four years ago, I probably would’ve told you the same thing!  You see, most people don’t really know what Multi Level Marketing is and what it isn’t.  So, I’m going to hopefully clarify this for you and give you a better insight on the whole MLM subject.

Network Marketing (also sometimes referred to as Multi-Level Marketing, or MLM for short) is one of the strongest growth industries in the world.  It’s practiced today in all fifty United States and more than 80 countries and territories.

“What what exactly is MLM?”

I love the explanation Don Failla uses in his book “The 45-Second Presentation That Will Change Your Life.”

Don breaks it down in simple to understand terms:

“Marketing” simply means moving a product or service from the manufacturer or provider to the consumer.

“Multi-Level” refers to the system of compensation provided to those persons who are causing the product to move or the service to be provided.

“Multi” means more than one.  “Level” refers to what may better be termed as “generation.”

Don then goes into explaining how there are really only three basic methods of moving products.

1. RETAILING - I’m sure everyone is familiar with retailing. The grocery store, the drug store, the department store . . . you go into a store and buy something.

2. DIRECT SALES -
would usually, (but not always) include insurance, cookware, encyclopedias, etc. Fuller Brush, the Avon lady, Tupperware home parties, etc. are some examples of Direct Sales efforts.

3. MULTI-LEVEL-MARKETING - is the one we shall be discussing in this book. It should not be confused with the other two, especially with the Direct Sales method of which MLM commonly is confused.

A fourth type of marketing that is sometimes added to the list is MAIL ORDER. Mail Order can be an MLM type, but most generally is included in the Direct Sales category.

A fifth type, often confused with MLM, I have already mentioned is PYRAMID SALES.
The fact is, PYRAMIDS are ILLEGAL! One of the main reasons they may be illegal is their failure to move a product or to provide a valid service.  If a product doesn’t move, how can you even call it “marketing,” let alone “Multi-Level-Marketing!” Multi-Level they may be−− but MARKETING THEY ARE NOT!!!
I hope this clarifies what Network Marketing/MLM is and what it isn’t!  What do you think? I’d love to hear your feedback!

FDI Voice - Kylee Virtual Assistant

FDI Voice - Kylee Virtual Assistant

FDI Voice has been the latest buzz around the internet marketing arena.  Just over the past year there have been so many mlm companies popping-up claiming to have the latest and greatest in telecom technology.

So the question is, Is FDI Voice just another hyped up telecom idea that will just end up being a total flop?

Well, first let’s take a look at some of the telecom trends, and where technology is headed.

The Telecom Stats:

Doesn’t it seem as though home phone are now becoming extinct?  Well, according to the US Census, the percentage of households in the US with landline phones have decreased from 96 to 91 percent between 1998 and 2005.

What they are finding is that more and more people are using cellular phones, especially households that are lead by younger adults.  In today’s world, people are married to their cell phones…some would even say that there are a lot of people out there who even go to bed w/ their phone!

Well from 1998 to 2005 the percentage of US households using cellular phones nearly doubled from 36 to 71 percent.  In 1995 there were 68 million households, and that number is expected to be more than 115 million by 2010! That’s 24,480,000 households with cell phones in 1998 (using the number of households in 1995 ) to now more than 81 MIILION households using cell phones.

So what does all this mean?

Well, plain and simple…we’re a mobile society!  We are always on the go and want the technology that is going to make our day-to-day lives convenient, hassle-free, and at a cost savings.

So with the mobility of cell phones and the need for constant communication, we are always on the go from sending text messages and emails to updating our Facebook and Twitter statuses no matter where we are.  We are always looking for newer and better ways to stay connected while on the go, without burning a huge hole in our wallets.
